The National Institutes of Health announced the launch of a new website that will allow people to anonymously report the results of their at-home coronavirus tests, be the outcome positive of negative.

Located at www.MakeMyTestCount.org, the website is a collaboration between the NIH and CareEvolution, a patient data company.

Given a strong preference by patients for at-home testing, which generally isn’t tallied in official virus figures, the new website may help provide scientists and researchers with a clearer picture of how many people are testing positive and whether they are symptomatic or not.

Data collection is completely anonymous.  The website asks for the brand of test used, the patient’s age and zip code, and when the test was taken.  Users can also include if they’ve had symptoms, and provide their race and gender if desired.
