Delta Air Lines announced the addition of priority lanes to its Delta Sky Clubs to permit certain more elite groups of travelers to gain access even when the lounge is starting to approach peak capacity.

The lanes will be available to passengers traveling in Delta One business class cabins, Delta Sky Miles members with Diamond Medallion elite status, Sky Miles members with invitation-only Delta 360 status, and passengers traveling in domestic first-class cabins who also have Sky Club membership.

“These entry lanes are just one of a continual range of enhancements designed to ensure our most frequent fliers and Delta Sky Club guests have a great experience on the ground and in the air,” the airline said in a written statement provided to Frequent Business Traveler and The Travelist.

The move follows a trial in Atlanta earlier in the year.

The new priority lanes will roll out in a phased approach at select airports, the airline said.
