Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced on Wednesday the planned opening of the new Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis.

The new property will open its doors to guests on June 1, 2022.

“Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis will be warm, inviting and filled with light,” said the company’s president of operations for the eastern part of the United States, Antoine Chahwan.

The 222-key property, including its guest rooms, was designed by the architectural firm Smallwood.

The spacious guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Mississippi River and the city’s skyline, and soft earth tones with warm dark wood headboards as well as dining tables to allow for comfortable in-room dining when desired.

Dining options for guests include the Signature Restaurant and Bar, helmed by local Chef Gavin Kaysen and offering Mediterranean cuisine.  Located on the ground floor, the diners can enjoy a view of passers-by.  Chef Kaysen will also operate a café with a grab-and-go option.  Other dining options include a casual bar and grill by the pool deck under the direction of the hotel’s executive chef, Martin Morelli, with a menu he describes as “Italian Riviera meets the Mississippi River.”

Guest amenities include an indoor pool with unobstructed city views, an outdoor pool the hotel says is the city’s largest, a spa offering a variety of treatments, and a fitness center with its own movement studio.

The property also features over 16,500 square feet (1,500 square meters) of meeting and event space including a grand ballroom with an outdoor terrace, a second ballroom, and a variety of meeting rooms, all with natural light.
