The new LaGuardia Airport Terminal B, or Central Terminal

JetBlue Airways announced plans to move operations at New York’s LaGuardia Airport to the new Central Terminal, also known as Terminal B.

The move will be effective October 31.  All flights except for its Boston shuttle will make the move, which was announced in an e-mail to members of the airline’s TrueBlue frequent-flyer program.

The airline’s Northeast Alliance partner, American Airlines, operates from the new Western Concourse in the Central Terminal.  The move will allow the two partners to reduce the minimum connection time required between flights.

JetBlue’s relocation also makes American’s Admirals Club lounge and the new American Express Centurion Lounge more easily accessible to its flyers.
