JetBlue Airways announced the start of non-stop daily service to San José del Cabo’s Los Cabos International Airport from both John F. Kennedy International and Los Angeles international airports.

The flights to and from Los Angeles began Thursday evening and the JFK flights began Friday.

San José del Cabo is a city and resort area located in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Together with Cabo San Lucas, the two are known simply as Cabo.  The region is recognized for its beaches, marine life, and scuba diving locations.

One of the area’s most outstanding features is El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, a popular gathering point for sea lions and tourists.  It is here that Gulf of California becomes the Pacific Ocean.

The airline will operate the flights using JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft.
