Kempinski Hotels on Thursday announced a new room category, Kempinski Fit Room.

The new room type features a private workout area and be available at some of the hotelier’s leading properties.

The Fit Room will include a Technogym Bike and Technogym Case as part of a partnership with Technogym, a Cesena, Italy-based company that makes connected fitness gear. The case includes a foam roller, mobility ball, exercise mat, loop bands, and power bands, while the bike features a console that allows the guest to tap into trainers from across the globe leading indoor cycling classes on demand as well as full-body workouts.

The recently renovated rooms feature a modern look with a king-size bed, parquet wood flooring, a full-size sofa, and room for a second bed if required.  At 624 square feet (58 square meters), the rooms are significantly larger than the hotel’s deluxe rooms and comparably priced.

The hotels that will offer the Fit Room at launch include the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Munich, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, the Grand Hotel Kempinski Shanghai, and the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Dubai.
