JetBlue Announces Multiple Executive Appointments and Promotions

JetBlue Airways announced multiple executive appointments and promotions on Tuesday.

Ursula Hurley, the airline’s current treasurer, will also assume the head of investor relations. Ms. Hurley has been at the airline for over 17 years.

Dave Fintzen, who currently serves as vice president of investor relations, will be promoted to the position vice president for the airline’s northeast alliance with American Airlines, a new role that the airline said “underscores the importance” of the relationship.

Katherine Celli, who currently holds the position of director of continuous improvement and the project management office, is being promoted to vice president of project management and continuous improvement. Ms. Celli has been a JetBlue employee for 13 years.

Finally, Icema Gibbs, currently director of corporate social responsibility, will take on the role of vice president of crewmember resource groups and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
