Flexjet, a provider of fractional ownership aircraft, announced the opening of its private terminal at Van Nuys Airport in the San Fernando Valley section of the City of Los Angeles.

The terminal, which located in the Clay Lacy Executive Complex, features a  3,000-square-foot (279-square-meter) lounge for Flexjet clients.

“Expanding our network of private terminals offers our clients another retreat as they travel with us,” said Megan Wolf, the company’s COO.

The lounge’s décor is intended to evoke the City of Angels with oversized black-and-white photographs of Los Angeles and Hollywood.

Passengers traveling on with Flexjet can use the private ramp to drive directly to their aircraft or first visit the lounge.  Lounge amenities include a café and espresso bar, a private parking lot, and a private conference room
