American Airlines Announces 17 New Routes

American Airlines said it plans to launch over 17 new routes including new service to Nassau and multiple flights from Orlando.

Among the new routes will be eight new flights from Orlando, including service to Birmingham, Alabama; Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

The Fort Worth-based carrier will also begin service from Austin to Nassau, Bahamas, in addition to previously announced flights to Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.

In addition, American will launch new flights to Aspen and Los Cabos, as well as to Destin, Florida.
