JetBlue Airways said it had taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo with its new domestic Mint business-class cabin.

The new jetliner carries the name “Neo Mintaly” and can be recognized by plane spotters thanks to its “Ribbons” tailfin, which uses three shades of blue from the airline’s corporate identity palette and uses simple shapes to create the illusion of three dimensions and motion.

Neo Mintaly is configured with a total of 160 seats including 16 Mint suites including two Mint Studios in the bulkhead row.  Each Mint suite extends into a fully lie-flat bed and has a 17” seatback displays, direct-aisle access, wireless smartphone charging, and a smartphone ledge.

The two Mint Studios in the front row feature 22” seatback displays, an extra side table, and a guest seat that can accommodate a visitor from another Mint seat during the flight.  The Mint Studio also will offer the largest lie-flat bed of any U.S. carrier, the airlines said.

The aircraft also has seven rows of its premium-economy lite Even More Space seating in a 3-3 configuration with seats that are 18” in width and 102 seats in coach.
