Marriott International announced plans for a $30 million renovation and refurbishment project at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.

The work will include a redesign of the hotel’s 582 guestrooms. The new look will highlight the local habitat and landscape with marine themes inspired by the natural environment of Florida. The refurbished rooms will have more outlets that are easily accessible as well as faster Wi-Fi for guests. The hotel projects completion of the work by February.

The project will also include a refurbishment of the hotel’s pool and cabanas as well as of its Club Lounge. This aspect of the work will be completed by March.

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando is one of two Marriott-owned hotels located on the Grande Lakes Orlando estate. The 1,000 room-JW Marriott is the other. Guests at both hotels are able to use all the amenities on the estate, including the 18-hole golf course, the Ritz-Carlton spa, as well as the Grande Lakes Sports Experiences which offers a variety of outdoor activities.
