Radisson Opened 84 Hotels in Asia-Pacific in 2020

Radisson Hotel Group, which operates hotels in 115 countries, announced it opened 84 hotels representing eight brands in the Asia-Pacific over the course of 2020.

The hotel brands represented in the expansion include Radisson Red, Radisson Blu, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.

The most hotels were opened in China, totaling 72 altogether. These include eight of the Radisson Red brand, one of the Radisson Blu, and six of the Park Plaza. The hotelier opened eight hotels in India and two in Vietnam.

“With respected core brands, innovative new concepts, and a fresh focus on high-growth sectors such as serviced apartments, we are confident of a bright future,” said Katerina Giannouka, Radisson’s president for the Asia-Pacific region.
