Accor Plans to Open Multiple New Hotels in 2021

French hotelier Accor announced plans to open a number of new hotels in 2021.

The hotel group said that it will add more than 50 new properties to its portfolio worldwide.

Among the new hotels that the chain will open are the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, the Fairmont Windsor in England, the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul, the Banyan Tree Doha, and several new Sofitels in Adelaide, Hangzhou, and Seoul.

In addition, as part of the company’s joint venture with London-based Ennismore, Accor expects to open the Mondrian Shoreditch London, the Jo & Joe Vienna Westbahnhof, and the SLS Dubai.

The Jo & Joe Vienna Westbahnhof is part of a development at the City Ikea Westbahnhof. The 345-key hotel will occupy the top two floors and offer a rooftop bar and restaurant. The Jo & Joe brand is a hybrid hostel-hotel that Accor says is aimed at travelers who embrace “sharing, spontaneity and experience.”
