United Airlines to Offer At-Home Covid-19 Tests for Latin American, Caribbean Destinations

United Airlines announced it would offer travelers flying from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to ten destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America a coronavirus home testing option that meets local entry requirements.

“Widespread testing is key to unlocking international borders and safely reopening global travel,” said Toby Enqvist, the airline’s chief customer officer.

The program will support Aruba; Belize City, Belize; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Lima; Nassau, Bahamas; Panama City, Panama; and three destinations in Honduras, namely Roatan, San Pedro Sula,  and Tegucigalpa,

The airline is working with Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory to offer the testing program at a cost of $119. The airline will provide passengers with specific instructions about using the program 14 days prior to departure.
