Hawaiian Airlines said it would eliminate ticket change fees on all of its flights.  This includes flights linking Hawaii and the mainland, international destinations, and inter-island flights within the state.

The move comes days American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and later Alaska Airlines followed United’s lead on Sunday in doing so, as carrier attempt to entice travelers to return to the skies amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The change applies to tickets purchased with cash or credit cards or HawaiianMiles for all cabins. It does not apply to the airline’s basic-economy fare, Main Cabin Basic, although change waivers are in effect for those fares for the remainder of 2020.

While United and Delta dropped the change fee on domestic flights, American, the world’s largest airline, said it would drop fees for transborder international flights as well as those to the Caribbean, as well as for most domestic tickets.
