American Airlines to Offer Free Apple TV+ Programs on Flights
American Airlines said it will offer programming from AppleTV+ for free on its in-flight entertainment systems.
The airline will offer a total of 11 Apple Originals although what is available on each flight will vary. The complete list of shows includes “The Morning Show,” “Defending Jacob,” “For All Mankind,” “Dickinson,” “Ghostwriter,” “Helpsters,” “Home Before Dark,” “Little America,” “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet,” “Snoopy in Space,” and “Oprah’s Book Club.”
A subscription to Apple TV+ is not required to see any of the shows, the airline said.
American, the world’s largest carrier, also offers subscribers to Apple Music free access to the Wi-Fi on flights with Viasat satellite Internet service, an offering that went into effect early last year.
