Red Roof Inn to Offer Telecommuters Day Rate Co-Working Option

Red Roof announced a special day rate for those of us working at home during the pandemic who need a break and a safe co-working space in which to conduct business.

For $29, guests get free Wi-Fi, a room with a desk, a coffee machine, a flatscreen television, free local and long distance callings, and access to a shared fax machine.

The hotelier wants to help people “continue their professional obligations close to home,” said the company’s chief marketing officer, Marina Macdonald.

The offer is available at over 200 Red Roof Inn locations, including some Red Roof Plus and Red Roof Inn and Suites properties.

The room is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The hotelier will allow up to two guests in a room, as well as a well-behaved dog or cat, and specifically says that the room cannot be used for meetings.

The offer is in effect through May 30, 2020.
