Turkish Airlines, which until now provided service to more countries than any other, announced the temporary suspension of all international flights with the exception of five destinations.

The five destinations to which the Turkish flag carrier will continue to offer flights are Addis Ababa, Hong Kong, New York City, Moscow, and Washington, D.C.

The schedule change goes into effect on March 27, 2020.

Until the coronavirus outbreak, Turkish Airlines served 315 destinations in 126 countries.

The airline said it will maintain part of its domestic schedule, although it will cut back its overall capacity by 85%.
