Apple announced new MacBook Pro Air laptops, iPad Pro tablets, and released the golden master for its iOS and iPadOS 13.4, a significant upgrade to its mobile operating systems.  A golden master is the final version of a software program that is then sent to manufacturing and used for retail copies.

The updated iPad Pro models come with with A12Z Bionic chips, dual camera setups, a new LiDAR Scanner for augmented reality, support for Wi-Fi 6, and a new Magic Keyboard accessory that adds a trackpad to the ‌iPad Pro‌ for the first time

The new iPad operating system, iPadOS 13.4, which will be available on March 24, adds full mouse and trackpad support.  Apples said this will bring customers “an all-new way to interact with their iPad” and that it will include familiar aspects including Apple’s multitouch gestures for trackpad.

Important new features in iOS and iPadOS 13.4 include a new always-visible in conversations toolbar in the Mail app with a more logical layout, including creating more separation between the delete icon and the reply icon to make it harder to accidentally delete e-mail messages.

Another new feature is iCloud Folder Sharing, which will make it possible to share iCloud Drive folders with others.

The 13.4 release is likely to be the last major release of  iOS and iPadOS 13 as Apple begins to focus on the release of iOS and iPadOS 14.
