Radisson to Enter New Zealand with 4 New Properties

Radisson Hotel Group announced plans to enter New Zealand with four new hotels.

The company,in announcing the move,cited a “shortage of internationally branded accommodation” in the South Island of the country.

The hotelier will launch three brands – Radisson Blu, Radisson Red, and Park Inn by Radisson – with four properties slated to open in 2021 and 2022.

The 171-room Radisson BluHotel, Queenstown Remarkables Park and the adjacent 257-room Radisson Red Queenstown Remarkable Park will be set on the banks of Lake Wakatipu, with access to the Remarkables ski fields and a planned convention center.

The 112-key Park Inn by Radisson Lake Tekapo and 237-key Radisson Blu Resort, Lake Tekapo will open in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
