Citi Adds Aeromexico as ThankYou Rewards Transfer Partner

Citi announced the addition of Club Premier, Aeromexico’s frequent-flyer program, to its list of ThankYou Rewards transfer partners.

Members of the ThankYou Rewards program can transfer ThankYou points to Club Premier at a one-to-one ratio for rewards that include flights with Aeromexico and other SkyTeam airlines as well as hotels and car rentals.

“The option to transfer ThankYou points to Club Premier points enhances one of our most important objectives: giving our members access to a world of memorable experiences,” said Juan Pastrana, the CEO of Club Premier.

With the addition of Club Premier, the Citi ThankYou Rewards program has over 15 airline transfer partners including Avianca LifeMiles, Air France and KLM’s Flying Blue, JetBlue TrueBlue, and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

“The addition of the Club Premier program to the ThankYou Program is another step in our journey to enable our cardmembers to redeem points to travel to more destinations around the world,“ said Mary Hines, the chief marketing officer at Citi for U.S. consumer banking.

Club Premier, with more than 4 million members, is the coalition loyalty program in Mexico that operates the Aeromexicofrequent-flyer program.  It is partially owned by Aimia, the company that until recently owned and operated Air Canada’s Aeroplan frequent-flyer program.
