Hyatt Unveils Significant Update of World of Hyatt iPhone and Android App

Hyatt Hotels announced the release of version 4.1.1 of its World of Hyatt smartphone app, a major update in features and functionality.

The new version of the app allows users to do more with reservations including modifying them.  It permits the review of room charges and supports check-in and check-out.  It works on both Apple iOS and Android platforms.

Guests can cast content including movies and television shows from their smartphones and tablets to the television in the room and unlock their guest room doors with Hyatt Mobile Entry.  Guests can also chat with the hotel staff via the app and make requests in real time, such as when more towels or pillows are needed.

Finally, guests can view a schedule of meetings and events taking place on property.
