Steigenberger Opens Hotel El Lessan on the Mediterranean Coast

Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of its second hotel in Egypt.

The Steigenberger Hotel El Lessan is located in Ras el Bar, a resort city in Darietta that lies on a peninsula on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The 153-key property offers guests a spa, fitness center, and an outdoor pool with views of the beach.  Guests have a choice of several dining options including the Amwag Restaurant with international cuisine; the Fanar Roof Deck Restaurant serving local specialties; the Al Gazira Pool Bar, which offers snacks and drinks; and the Sea Bar, a cocktail lounge.

Guest rooms and suites are decorated in muted earth tones with one wall the color of the sea. All have balconies with Nile and sea views.

The hotel has four conference rooms including two ballrooms. The Sultan Ballroom can accommodate 550 guests, while the smaller Princess Ballroom can seat 350.
