The airline’s programs will revolve around its charity partner, The Trevor Project,

United plans to take part in 12 Pride parades globally and involve its customers in its programs.

“As Pride Month approaches, we invite MileagePlus members to show their pride,” said the airline’s vice president of loyalty, Luc Bondar.

One program the airline is offering is the ability for its MileagePlus frequent-flyer program members to bid using award miles to attend special Pride celebrations with the airline. The packages include travel packages to walk in the Pride Parade with airline employees in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco and in the WorldPride 2019 parade in New York City.

Another item MileagePlus members can bid on a DJ Drag Queen Brunch at Newark Liberty International Airport featuring Kennedy Davenport and Fifi Dubois and a screening of the movie “Coco” at Family Movie Night at the Christopher Street Pier.

Bidding for the lowest-cost item starts at 5,500 miles and the airline will donate all miles to The Trevor Project.

Founded in 1998 by the creators of the award-winning short film “Trevor,” The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization that offers 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.
