Southwest Announces Multiple New Routes from Long Beach

IMG_8481 2Southwest Airlines announced on Thursday multiple new routes and returning seasonal routes.

The Dallas-based carrier announced four new routes from Long Beach, namely to Oakland; San Jose, California; Sacramento; and Las Vegas, all starting October 1, 2019.

It is also adding new daily service from Baltimore to Greenville-Spartanburg, a route that was last offered in 2016, and new weekly service linking Boston and Fort Lauderdale.

In addition it is resuming multiple seasonal routes to Cancun, departing from Austin, Nashville, Milwaukee, and San Antonio.  It is also renewing service in November between Houston Hobby Airport and Aruba; Baltimore and both Liberia and San Jose, Costa Rica; and Denver and Belize.
