Photo Essay: United Club Grand Opening in LaGuardia’s New Terminal
United Airlines will move some of its operations to LaGuardia Airport’s brand new Eastern Concourse in Terminal B, the Central Terminal building, on June 2, and it is also opening the doors of its newest United Club lounge in that concourse to passengers that day.
The strikingly modern lounge takes some of its styling cues from United’s Polaris business-class lounges and what the airline refers to as “the sleek styles of New York City.”
To visit the lounge, travel up the grand escalators that are a centerpiece of the concourse to the mezzanine level, where airline lounges are located. The United Club seats 200, features multiple food presentations each day, starting with breakfast, that include hot and cold dishes; offers a wellness room and private phone booths; and features expansive views of tarmac operations.
Here’s what you will see when the airline’s newest United Club opens on Sunday.
