IMG_7144 2Omni Hotels and Resorts announced that the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa reopened its doors to guests this week after the completion of a $150 million renovation project and expansion.

The property, which first opened in 1989, is located in Texas Hill Country, in the Edwards Plateau at the crossroads of West Texas, Central Texas, and South Texas.

The renovation work resulted in a completely new lobby and 5,500-square-foot (511-square-meter) outdoor pavilion, and 23,900 square feet (2,220 square meters) of lawns. The lawns as well as the pavilion are available for meetings and events.

The hotel also constructed a new conference center with two ballrooms, one 14,500 square feet (1,347 square meters) and the other, 8,200 square feet (762 square meters) in area.

All 493 guest rooms and suites were redone and feature a traditional décor with dark woods, burgundy accents, grey tones, and wicker furniture.

The hotel has seven dining establishments, a new Mokara Spa with a café, a pool area with views of the Texas Hill Country, tennis courts, and four golf courses.
