Uber Expands Ride Pass Subscription to New York City, Dallas, Las Vegas
Ride-hailing service Uber said it is expanding its Ride Pass subscription service to New York City, Dallas, Las Vegas, and San Diego.
Ride Pass offers customers protection from surge pricing and a 15% discount on UberX and ExpressPool rides. The service is available in a total of 16 cities including Baltimore, Jacksonville, Nashville, New Orleans, Phoenix, and Seattle.
Subscribers to Ride Pass also get 30 free minutes a day on Jump e-bikes where available. Uber acquired Brooklyn-based Jump last April.
Ride Pass fees will start at $15 per month. In New York City, the cost is $24.99 per month.
