Icelandair announced a partnership between its Saga Club frequent-flyer program and Loylogic, a loyalty program company.

The deal will give members of Saga Club the ability to collect or redeem points by booking hotels and renting cars via Loylogic’s portal, which will be integrated into the Icelandair website.

The agreement “gives our members the ability to book any hotel and rent a car with Saga Points, in full or as partial payment, while earning Saga Points for the part they pay in cash,” said Nótt Thorberg, the airline’s director of loyalty programs.

Icelandair was created in 1973 with the merger of Flugfélag Íslands and Loftleiðir and traces its origins back to the founding of Flugfélag Íslands in 1937. Icelandair Saga Club was founded in 1992.
