Delta Inaugurates Non-Stop Service to Ontario, California

DSC_4940Delta Air Lines inaugurated non-stop service to Ontario, California, from its Atlanta hub on Monday.

Flight 996 arrived from Atlanta in the Inland Empire at 10 a.m. local time.  The return flight departed for Atlanta at 11:09 a.m.

A second non-stop flight to Ontario is slated to start on June 17.

Delta is operating the new service with Boeing 737-800 and -900 aircraft.

Ontario is located in southwestern San Bernardino County, in the western part of the Inland Empire and just east of Los Angeles County.  Ontario International Airport is the 15th busiest in the United States by cargo traffic.
