American Airlines announced the start of Airbus A321neo service with the inaugural flight of the first of its 100 new A321neo aircraft.

The 196-seat jet sports a new cabin design with more premium seats than the airline’s other A321 aircraft, with 20 first-class seats and 47 in its Main Cabin Extra premium economy lite section.

The A321neo also features new Airbus XL overhead bins with greater capacity as well as three additional jump seats for traveling flight attendants.

All passengers have access to high-speed satellite Wi-Fi, in-flight entertainment via Wi-Fi at no charge, and USB and 110V power at every seat. In addition, the aircraft features heated floor panels in the galley for crew comfort.
