JetBlue Launches Fort Lauderdale-Guayaquil, Ecuador, Adds Second Seasonal Flight to Quito

DSC_0670JJetBlue Airways announced the start of new daily service linking Fort Lauderdale with Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Friday, as well as the addition of a second seasonal daily flight to Quito.

The inaugural flight departed Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at approximately 7 p.m. local time and arrived shortly before 11 p.m.

Guayaquil is known for its museums, outdoor gardens, and zoos, as well as for its nearby island beaches.

Quito is the world’s highest capital city at 9,300’ (2,835 m) above sea level. The city center is a World Heritage Site and the city itself is known for its museums and parks.
