Hyatt Plans Park Hyatt Resort on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam

Hyatt Hotels announced plans for a Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam, the brand’s first.

The Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will open in 2022 along with 65 residences.

Phu Quoc Island is known for its beaches, forests, and sunsets, and is the largest island in Vietnam. Phu Quoc National Park includes mountains, dense tropical jungle, and hiking trails.

The 110-key resort will feature guest rooms and villas with a décor inspired by traditional Vietnamese villages, the hotelier said. All rooms will have sea views.

The hotel will offer guests two dining options in addition to a bar, a poolside barbecue, two pools, an organic farm, and a Camp Hyatt for children. It will also have over 4,300-square-feet (400-square-meters) of meeting and event space.
