Boeing Makes Multiple Embraer-Related Executive Appointments

DSC_0420Boeing announced multiple executive appointments on Wednesday related to its partnership with Embraer.

The company appointed Marc Allen to the position of president of Embraer Partnership and Group Operations as well as senior vice president of Boeing. It also named Sir Michael Arthur to the position of president of Boeing International, and John Slattery to the position of chief executive officer of the joint venture between Boeing and Embraer.

Marc Allen most recently served as president of Boeing International. He will now be responsible for integrating multiple Embraer group operations with Boeing’s and, following the closing of the joint venture with Embraer, will be responsible for all aspects of the partnership.

“Marc’s global experience and relationships, deep knowledge of our industry and passion for people make him uniquely qualified to lead the integration of these two iconic companies,” said Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing’s CEO.

Sir Michael, who will succeed Mr. Allen as president of Boeing International, is currently president of Boeing Europe and managing director of Boeing U.K. and Ireland.

John Slattery is CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation and executive vice president of Embraer.
