JetBlue Airways announced operational results for December 2018. The carrier said that its total traffic, capacity, and load factor were all up for the month.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic was 4.35 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 6.8% from 4.08 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

JetBlue’s capacity increased by 8.5% to 5.35 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 4.93 billion ASMs in December 2017.

Meanwhile, the carrier’s passenger load factor for the month was 81.4%, down 1.3 percentage points from 82.7% last December.

The airline said its preliminary completion factor was 99.8% and its on-time performance was 74.5%. It also affirmed its guidance for fourth quarter revenue per available seat mile, or RASM. RASM is expected to be in the range of 1.5% to 3.5%.
