JetBlue Appoints New Vice President for Inflight Experience

DSC_0487JetBlue Airways announced the appointment of Edward Baklor to the new position of vice president, inflight experience.

Mr. Baklor, who will join the carrier in January, was previously chief commercial officer at LaGuardia Gateway Partners, the company that manages the Central Terminal Building at LaGuardia Airport. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of guest experience at WestJet and also spent 14 years at the Walt Disney Company in its Theme Parks and Resorts division.

“Ed has built his entire career around the idea of service excellence,” said Ian Deason, the airline’s senior vice president for customer experience.

Founded in 2000, JetBlue is based in New York City and serves 102 destinations with a fleet of over 250 aircraft.
