JetBlue Appoints New General Counsel

DSC_0264JetBlue Airways announced the appointment of Brandon Nelson to the position of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Nelson, who joined the airline in 2005, was previously vice president and associate general counsel.

As general counsel, Mr. Nelson will be responsible for the airline’s legal; ethics and compliance; cybersecurity; and environmental, social, and governance efforts. He will report directly to Robin Hayes, the carrier’s CEO.

In addition to these responsibilities, he will continue to serve on the investment committee of JetBlue Technology Ventures, a venture capital fund; and he will remain a trustee of the company’s 401(k) plan.
