Hyatt and Small Luxury Hotels of the World Form Alliance

Hyatt Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World announced a strategic alliance on Wednesday.

The partnership will allow members of Hyatt’s World of Hyatt guest loyalty program the opportunity to earn points from and redeem points for stays at participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties when the booking is made via Hyatt.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World has over 500 properties in 80 countries on its roster. Hyatt operates 14 brands with over 750 properties in 55 countries.

“Our work together will allow World of Hyatt members to enjoy loyalty benefits across a wider choice of small independent luxury hotels,” said Filip Boyem, the CEO of the hotel group.

The two companies said they expect the partnership to be up and running by the end of the year.
