United Airlines to Increase Houston-Havana Flights

DSC_0116 (1)United Airlines announced that it plans to increase its service between Houston and Havana, Cuba, to daily beginning July 20. The flights are subject to government approval.

The additional flights will be operated by Mesa Airlines as United Express, using either Boeing 737-800 or Embraer E175 aircraft. United’s 737-800s that will be used on the route are equipped with 16 seats in first class, 54 in economy plus, and 96 in economy. First class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 37”.

The carrier’s E175s are outfitted with 12 seats in first class, 16 in economy plus, and 48 in economy. Seats in first class have a pitch of 37”, and are 24” wide.

United’s service to Havana is the only one from Houston, as well as the only one from the central and Western United States.
