BMW announced the launch of a new-vehicle subscription service, Access by BMW, on Wednesday.

Access by BMW will provide its members with a selection of BMWs ranging from 4 Series coupes or cabriolets, X5 SUVs, and 5 Series sedans. A performance tier will include access to BMW M cars including the M4, M5, and X6M models.

Members simply request a specific vehicle via a mobile app that is available for both iOS and Android devices. Vehicles are delivered by a BMW concierge, detailed and with a full tank of fuel. The driver’s individual preferences will be preset and members can switch cars as often as they wish during the subscription period.

BMW is following in the footsteps of Cadillac, Ford, Porsche, and Volvo, which have all introduced similar subscription options in the past two years.

The program is being made available by BMW’s financing arm, BMW Financial Services, and will be available in Nashville, Tennessee, as a pilot program. Vehicles will be delivered and maintained by local dealers.

The basic “Legend” tier will cost $2,000 per month including insurance and maintenance, while the M tier will cost $3,700 per month.
