Chase to Debut New Iberia, Aer Lingus Signature Loyalty Credit Cards

IMG_5256JP Morgan Chase and Avios Group, the company that manages the currency of Avios points for British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, and other frequent flyer programs, announced the launch of a new Iberia Visa Signature card as well as a new Aer Lingus Visa Signature card.

Both credit cards offer three Avios points for every dollar spent on Iberia, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Level, and OpenSkies purchases, as well as one Avios point for every dollar spent on all other purchases.

Each card also offers the cardholder lost luggage reimbursement , purchase protection, and collision damage waiver coverage for car rentals, while neither card has foreign transaction fees.

The Iberia card offers a $1,000 discount voucher after a spend of $30,000 in one year, as well as 10% off flights purchased on the airline’s website. Meanwhile, the Aer Lingus card provides cardholders with a ticket for a companion when booked in economy class after $30,000 spent in a year, in addition to priority boarding on all flights to and from the United States.
