Air Canada Begins Toronto-Cartagena Route, Plans New Routes to Bucharest, Buenos Aires, Dublin, Lisbon, Tel Aviv for 2018

DSC_4872Air Canada announced the launch of new flights to Cartagena, Colombia from Toronto on December 18.

The carrier will operate the service using Airbus A319-100 aircraft, equipped with 14 seats in business class and 106 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21.1” wide and have a pitch of 38”-39”.

The route is one of many that are part of the airline’s global expansion this year, having already launched flights from Toronto to Mumbai, Berlin, Reykjavik, St. Vincent, and Belize City, as well as routes from Montreal to Shanghai, Marseille, Reykjavik, Tel-Aviv, Algiers, and Lima, in addition to service from Vancouver to Melbourne, Taipei, Nagoya, Frankfurt, and London Gatwick in 2017.

In 2018, the carrier will further expand its international footprint, adding new flights from Toronto to Shannon, Porto, Zagreb, Bucharest, and Buenos Aires, as well as from Montreal to Tokyo Narita, Dublin, Bucharest, Lisbon, and Tel-Aviv. Air Canada will also inaugurate flights to Paris and Zurich from Vancouver next year.
