DSC_0972Porter Airlines announced that it will launch new service to Melbourne, Florida, a coastal city approximately 70 miles (112 kilometers) southeast of Orlando, from two new Canadian cities this winter.

The carrier will begin seasonal weekly service from Ottawa and Windsor on December 16. Both routes will operate through March 31, 2018.

The new routes will complement the carrier’s existing seasonal service to Orlando Melbourne International Airport from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Porter will offer Toronto-Melbourne flights between December 16 and April 7.

Melbourne is located 20 minutes from Port Canaveral, and 30 minutes from Kennedy Space Center.
