American Express announced it will open two new Centurion Lounges in October, one at Hong Kong International Airport, and one at Philadelphia International Airport. The lounge in Hong Kong is scheduled to open on October 2, while Philadelphia’s will open in late October.

The Centurion Lounge at Hong Kong International will be located in Terminal 1. The lounge will be approximately 8,000 square feet (743 square meters), and will offer a buffet with local and international cuisine, as well as an à la carte menu designed by the chef of the InterContinental Hong Kong.

The new lounge will have a complimentary bar, as well as a meeting room. Guests will also have access to the lounge’s private shower suite.

Philadelphia’s Centurion Lounge is set to open in Terminal A West. The 6,300-square-foot (585-square-meter) lounge will offer an Israeli-inspired menu, with items such as challah French toast and Israeli salad.

As with other Centurion Lounges, the space will have a complimentary bar, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows. Private phone areas and dedicated workspaces will also be available to passengers.

Lounge access at both will be complimentary for all Platinum Card and Centurion members. Platinum Car members may bring up to two guests with them at no charge, while Centurion members can bring their immediate family or two guests. Both will be able to purchase day passes for additional guests for $50.

The Centurion Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport will be the first to open in Asia, while the one in Philadelphia will be the eighth to open in the United States.
