Southwest to Expand Flights to California

DSC_0819Southwest Airlines announced that it plans to launch multiple new routes from California next year.

On March 10, 2018, Southwest will begin new non-stop service to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico from both San Jose and Sacramento, California. Also on that date, the carrier will launch flights to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from San Diego.

Beginning April 8 of next year, the airline will offer daily non-stop flights from Sacramento to Austin and St. Louis, as well as from San Jose to Boise, Houston Hobby, St. Louis, and Spokane. San Francisco-Austin flights will also commence on that date.

The carrier will then launch service to Orlando, Florida from both San Jose and Sacramento on May 6.

In addition to the new California flights, Southwest plans to begin new Fort Lauderdale-Jacksonville service, as well as seasonal flights to Cancun from both Columbus, Ohio and New Orleans, Louisiana next April.
