Delta to Launch New Airbus A350, Delta One Suites on Oct. 30 on Detroit-Tokyo Route

IMG_4579 (1)Delta Air Lines will introduce its first Airbus A350 as well as its new Delta One suites and Premium Select products on October 30, 2017 on its Detroit-Tokyo (Narita) route.

The Atlanta-based airline is the first U.S. carrier to operate the A350.

Each Delta One suite has a full-height door and there are sliding privacy dividers separating center suites. Each suite also has individually customizable ambient lighting, storage compartments for a laptop, headphones, and shoes, a memory foam comfort cushion, and an 18” in-flight entertainment monitor.

Premium Select seats will have up to 38” of seat pitch and 19” of width as well as 7” of recline. Each seat features adjustable leg and head rests and passengers receive Westin Heavenly In-Flight blankets and pillows, a Tumi amenity kit, and noise-cancelling headphones.

The new Premium Select cabin will also be available on some flights from Detroit to Incheon starting in mid-November and some flights from Detroit to Beijing starting in January 2018.
