Air Canada to Launch Toronto-Mumbai Service

DSC_4872Air Canada announced that it will begin new non-stop flights between Toronto and Mumbai on July 1. The carrier will operate the route four times a week.

Flights are scheduled to depart Toronto at 9:35 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arrive in Mumbai at 9:30 p.m. the next day. From Mumbai, flights will depart at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and arrive back in Toronto at 5:10 a.m. the next morning.

Air Canada will operate the service using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 21 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 247 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

The route will be the carrier’s first from Canada to the Indian coastal city.
