Icelandair to Serve Vancouver Year-Round

DSC_0292Icelandair announced that it will change its current seasonal route between Vancouver and Reykjavik, Iceland to year-round service beginning this winter.

Flights currently depart Vancouver International Airport at 3:45 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays and arrive at Keflavik International Airport at 6 a.m. the next morning. From Reykjavik, flights depart at 5:10 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and arrive in Vancouver at 5:50 p.m.

In addition to the change to year-round service, Icelandair said that it plans to increase the frequency to three times a week beginning next year.

The airline first began the Vancouver-Reykjavik route in May 2014.
