Austrian Airlines Links Vienna with Los Angeles

DSC_1519 (1)Austrian Airlines announced the launch of new service between Vienna and Los Angeles. The carrier will operate the service five times a week initially, and will increase to six flights a week beginning June 13.

Flights will depart Vienna International Airport at 10:03 a.m. and arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 1:20 p.m. Flights from Los Angeles to Vienna are scheduled to depart at 3:05 p.m. and arrive at 12:05 p.m. the following day.

Austrian will use Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the new route. The aircraft are equipped with 48 lie-flat seats in business class and 260 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 19” wide and have a bed length of 78”.

The new service is the carrier’s first non-stop between Vienna and the West Coast of the United States.
