Chevy to Offer Unlimited In-Car Data Plans

Chevrolet announced the introduction of an unlimited data plan for cars equipped with an OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

The automaker said the new plan will cost $20 a month.

Chevy said that in-vehicle data usage has been rising and that drivers of its vehicles used approximately 200% more data in 2016 than in 2015.

The plan will be available in all Chevrolet vehicles equipped with the latest version of OnStar.
